Seymour Hicks plays the title role in the first sound version of the Dickens classic about the miser who's visited by three ghosts on Christmas Eve. This British import is notable for being the only adaptation of this story with an invisible Marley's Ghost and its Expressionistic cinematography. This is the uncut 78 minute version.

This German propaganda movie was part of a U.S. Navy archive compiled during WWII, and acquired by Periscope Film. This Kriegsmarine film shows the cruise of the German warships Gneisenau and Blucher in the North Atlantic in 1939 and 1940. These two ships were to be part of what Adolph Hitler hoped would be a new German Navy that would challenge Britain's mastery of the sea. Made to promote flight deck safety, this Vietnam era film features footage shot aboard USS Forrestal (CVA-59). It was made in 1967, the same year that the ship suffered a terrible fire that cost 134 lives. It is unclear whether the film predates the fire, or was made in its wake.
